Adelaide pair Brad Crouch and Jake Lever have been ruled out of Sunday’s clash with Collingwood.

Crouch, 23, will miss after fracturing his cheekbone against Geelong last Friday night.

The midfielder had surgery to repair the damage on Tuesday.

Crows General Manager of High Performance Matt Hass said Crouch was recovering well.

“Brad is back at the Club and doing some training,” Hass said.

“The surgeon’s advice is that Brad shouldn’t play this weekend as he recovers.

“We’ll continue to be guided by our medical team and assess his availability again next week.”

Lever, 21, will miss a second game with a hamstring injury.

“Jake just hasn’t done enough training this week to put his hand up for selection,” Hass said.

“He’ll train over the weekend with the view to being available for the Showdown next weekend.”

Lever and Brad Crouch will be joined on the sidelines this week by forward Eddie Betts.

Betts is recovering after having surgery to remove his appendix.

The two-time All Australian, who played his 100^th consecutive game last week, will miss his first match since joining Adelaide ahead of the 2014 season.

In better news, defender Kyle Hartigan (hamstring) and young onballer Wayne Milera Junior (calf) are available for selection.
